NETSET cables are compliant with Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and EN 50575 harmonized European standard that specifies reaction to fire performance requirements, test and assessment methods for electric cables used for the supply of electricity and for control and communication purposes, which are intended for use in construction works and subject to performance requirements on reaction to fire.
NETSET UTP PE 5e E1412 is a top quality twisted-pair cable designed for professional data transmission systems installed outdoors. Its polyethylene (PE) sheath is resistant to UV radiation (sunlight) and moisture. The cable put into ducts or trays can be used in installations buried in the ground. However, in the case of cabling operating in environments with increased humidity, the better choice is the gel-filled cable - NETSET UTPw 5e E1410.
The introduction of a new generation of IP cameras in recent years has increased the requirements for the transmission medium UTP category 5e. The production of high-resolution cameras has significantly increased the demand for bandwidth, multiplying the amount of transmitted data. For this reason, twisted-pair crosstalk parameters become such an important criterion for twisted-pair cable selection.
In response to market demand, DIPOL has introduced a family of twisted-pair cables with the highest parameters under the common name NETSET.
In response to market demand, DIPOL has introduced a family of twisted-pair cables with the highest parameters under the common name NETSET.
The outer diameter of the NETSET UTP PE 5e cable has been reduced to 6.0 mm, which considerably facilitates laying of the cable in ducts and pipes. The insulation of the wires has been made of special PE, to make it easier to crimp RJ-45 connectors onto the cable.
Distinguishing features of NETSET UTP PE 5e cable:
- highest-quality materials, strict technological discipline confirmed by a 15-year quality guarantee
- preliminary quality control of materials and thorough tests of the final product
- meter markers - length error less than 0.5%
- solid wires of 0.50 mm diameter (24 AWG)
- wire insulation made of homogeneous, colored PE; outer diameter: 1.01 mm; colors: white-green/green, white-orange/orange, white-brown/brown, white-blue/blue
- insulated wires twisted in pairs of 2.02 mm diameter
- pairs twisted together
- sheath made of black PE, outer diameter of 6.0 mm
NETSET UTP PE 5e E1412 cable is manufactured in compliance with EN 50173, ISO/IEC 61156-5 edition: 2002, ISO/IEC 11801 standards.
NETSET cables come with a 15-year warranty.
The manufacturer guarantees the stability of the parameters for a period of 15 years. The condition for maintenance of the guarantee is observance of the principles of packaging, storage and transport described in the PN-70 E-79100 standard and the principles of operation described in the PN-EN 50174-1 standard.
NETSET UTP PE 5e E1412 cable can be used in a wide temperature range: -20o...+50oC, and installed between -30o...+50 oC.
The cable is also available in unreel box - E1412_305.
