Details
NETSET cables are compliant with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and EN 50575 harmonized European standard that specifies reaction to fire performance requirements, test and assessment methods for electric cables for use in construction works.
The requirements for using cables with a specific reaction to fire class in a given type of building should be based on a risk analysis made by the installation designer or other national formal and legal documents. The CPR Directive does not impose on the EU Member States the requirements for types of buildings and associated cables with specific fire reaction classes. The reaction to fire class of cables and other conductors installed within escape routes should not be less than B2ca-s1b, d1, a1.
According to guidelines of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers guidelines, CPR class B2ca cable must be installed in escape routes:
- high-rise buildings (WW) with a height of more than 55 m above ground level
- high-rise buildings (W) with a height of more than 25 m to 55 m above ground level or residential buildings with the number of floors above ground level from 9 to 18 inclusive
- buildings in human risk category ZL I with rooms intended for simultaneous presence of more than 50 people who are not permanent users, and not intended primarily for use by people with reduced mobility
- buildings in human risk category ZL II – intended primarily for use by people with reduced mobility, such as hospitals, nurseries, kindergardens, nursing homes
- buildings in human risk category ZL III – commercial buildings not classified unser ZL I and ZL II
- buildings in human risk category ZL IV – residential
- Buildings in human risk category ZL V – collective residence not classified under ZL I and ZL II
- PM and IN buildings (production buildings, warehouses, livestock etc.).
NETSET U/FTP 6A is a top quality indoor FTP CAT 6A twisted-pair cable designed for use in professional computer networks inside buildings. Shielding layers made of aluminum foil minimize crosstalk between pairs and interference with the external environment.

- EN 13501-6:2014
The cable comes with a 15-year warranty
The manufacturer guarantees the stability of parameters for at least 15 years, on the condition that the cable is packed, transported, installed, and used according to adequate European standards (among others E-79100 and EN 50174-1), within the permissible environmental conditions.
The NETSET U/UTP Category 6A E1617 twisted pair cable is intended for use in an environment with temperature from -30oC to 50 oC. Installation temperature not lower than 0oC and not higher than 50oC. The bending radius should not be less than 8 times the outside diameter.
