BNC connector Platinum has been designed to ensure watertightness (after crimping). During compression of the connector a plastic bush is tightly pressed against the sheath of the cable (by putting on cone-shaped brass bush). The plastic material is protected by patent (Delrin of DuPont company well known for quality of products). It is UV-proof, and ensures stable physical parameters in very wide temperature range. The metal parts of the connector are made of nickel-plated brass and are corrosion-proof. Top-quality Platinum BNC connector for use on both CAMSET and RG 59 coax cables. TR-255 compression tool for compression connectors have to be used as well as Universal Compression Tool E80075 PCT-AIO-CT (for compressing BNC, F, IEC, RCA connectors). E3511 quick adapter DC 2.1/5.5 connector S-55 for power CCTV cameras.

CAMSET/YAR M5995 is a high quality CCTV cable used for transmitting baseband video and supplying power to cameras or other CCTV devices. Its copper conductors ensure low resistance and attenuation.
Cable structure.
Main features of the CAMSET/YAR cable:
- copper core and braid,
- two power wires up to 230 VAC,
- preliminary quality control of materials and thorough tests of the final product,
- compatibility with the RG-59 cable,
- meter markers.
CAMSET cables are compliant with Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and EN 50575 harmonized standard that specifies reaction to fire performance requirements, test and assessment methods for electric cables used for the supply of electricity and for control and communication purposes, which are intended for use in construction works and subject to performance requirements on reaction to fire.
CAMSET/YAR 75-0.59/3.7+2*0.50 CCTV cable has been examined by ISSeP notified body (NB 2659) and got Eca classification according to EN 13501-6 (reaction to fire).
Two wires of 0.5 mm diameter allow to power CCTV devices with 12 VDC, 24 VAC, or 230 VAC. Thus it is possible to send power to cameras put in outdoor housings, such as M54141. The possibility of using the cable up to 230 VAC has been confirmed by the certificate issued by the EVPU laboratory in Slovakia.
For outside insallations we recommend CAMSET/YAR PE 75-0.59/3.7+2x0.50 M5997_100 cable.
