TVR0398DCIR M2311 is high-performance glass lens from Tokina company of Japan, to be used with high quality CCTV cameras (1/3") including megapixel cameras of resolution up to 1.3 Mpx.

IR correction - in the case of typical lens different wave lengths (colors) are deflected by different angles. It is not so critical within visible light spectrum, but poses a problem in infrared range (night operation with IR lighting). The specially designed aspherical optical components of the M2311 lens allow optimum operation both during the day and at night.
The lens enables the installer/user to set focal length from 3.0 to 8.2 mm. Adjustment of this parameter allows quick correction of viewing angle. In the case of cameras equipped with 1/3" image sensors, the angle can be changed within 89 to 34 degrees (horizontally). The lens also has automatic iris (DC driven).

An important advantage of the lens is the quality of moving components for adjusting focal length, diaphragm, focus. They allow precise setting of the image under all conditions, which is especially important feature for installers.
