TREND 260 is a family of modern CCTV DVRs using H.264 compression.
260 series is the successor of the very successful 250 series.
TREND 260X16 is a 16-channel DVR that provides recording capabilities of 4CIF (704 x 576) images at 6 frames per second (in each channel) or 2CIF (704 x 288) images at 12 fps (also in each channel). It can be used in any monitoring system that requires multiple channels, high-resolution recordings, preview in real time and efficient compression standard, with moderate frame rate.
H.264 compression and compatibility with hard drives of capacity up to 2TB enable recording of very large amounts of video data. VGA output with maximum resolution of 1280x1024 px can cooperate with LCD or CRT monitors. There is additional video output (BNC Main Out - CVBS), which may display different channel/screen division (at the same time), however the DVR menu is accessible only on one, selected output. HDMI output is the alternative to VGA and can provide 1080i video.
Another video output, BNC SPOT, can be used to display full screen images from individual cameras. The image can be switched sequentially between active channels and optionally stopped at any channel (menu-controlled).
The DVR can be operated locally, using a USB mouse, remote control, or the keys on the front panel, as well as remotely via the Internet. The default web browser for managing the DVR is Internet Explorer, however there are plugins for Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
