Details

The Dahua IPC-HFW2649T-ZAS-IL-27135 camera belongs to the LITE series, which comprises solutions designed for standard surveillance installations. Devices in this series feature the basic, most commonly used functions, making them the ideal solution for most installations, where they will ensure stable and trouble-free operation. A distinctive feature is the hybrid illuminator with intelligent switching, which consists of an IR illuminator and a white light.
The device produces images with a resolution of up to 6 Mpix even in very low light. If the lighting is too low, a hybrid illuminator with intelligent switching is activated, consisting of an IR illuminator and white light. The choice of illumination mode depends on the settings. In white light illuminator mode, the device utilises Full-Colour technology. Round-the-clock colour performance is achieved through the use of a modern lens, a high-sensitivity sensor and warm white lighting, which ensures a colour image in the absence of sufficient light sources.
Key features:
  • resolution 6 MP – 3288 x 1850 at 20 fps
  • motorised zoom lens with variable focal length 2.7–13.5 mm
  • hybrid illuminator with intelligent switching
  • Full-colour – colour images around the clock
  • intelligent motion detection SMD+ (Smart Motion Detection +)
  • smart events: line crossing and motion detection in a zone (entry and exit)
  • RTMP protocol allowing audio and video streams to be sent directly to popular streaming platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo or Twitch
  • image functions: 3D-DNR, WDR, BLC, HLC
  • waterproof (IP67) housing
  • microSD card recording capability
  • 12 V DC power supply or PoE (802.3af)
Key features:
Hybrid illuminator with intelligent switching

With the default settings, the camera automatically switches to IR illuminated or white light mode. In night mode, the camera operates with the IR illuminator, but when an object is detected in the monitored area, the scene is illuminated with white light. This provides greater identification possibilities (the image is in colour).

Intelligent motion detection SMD+ (Smart Motion Detection +)

Traditional motion detection worked based on changes in the intensity of light reaching a pixel (or larger groups of pixels) of the sensor. Any such change in light triggers detection, so the system catches the movement of objects that are not relevant to security. Such motion detection is sensitive to, for example, the movement of leaves in the wind, passing insects, birds, shadows or precipitation.
The new SMD motion detection system is able to analyse motion detection events for the detection of human or vehicle. This ensures that alarm notifications are filtered and unnecessary alarms are blocked. If you have a system with recording on a compatible NVR, the recordings can be filtered for human or vehicle detection.
Intelligent perimeter protection

The perimeter protection functions, i.e. crossing the virtual line and entering the protected zone, can recognise objects of interest. They operate on the basis of a deep learning algorithm and can accurately recognise people and vehicles. In this way, the number of false alarms caused by irrelevant objects can be significantly reduced. Recordings can be quickly filtered to isolate these objects.
Full-color technology
Full-colour cameras capture high-resolution colour images day and night. They are characterised by a very high level of sensitivity, which means that the camera requires low levels of light to generate a useful image - street lighting or moonlight is sufficient. This is made possible by fitting a lens with a large aperture - more light reaches the sensor. In addition, the more sensitive sensor handles incident light more efficiently and the signal processor maintains a balance between noise reduction and blurring of moving objects. If there is insufficient light, the built-in white light illuminator is switched on.
The 24-hour colour image ensures better identification of vehicle or human details. A particularly important advantage when working at night is that there are no reflections from precipitation or insects, which are common problems when working with IR illuminators.
RTMP protocol for transmitting video and audio directly to popular streaming platforms
The camera supports the RTMP (Real-time Streaming Protocol), which is required to connect to popular streaming platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Twitch, etc.). This allows you to broadcast live streams to a virtually unlimited audience. It is ideal for broadcasting events such as church services, sports matches, training sessions or for remote learning.
Starlight
The camera is equipped with a high-sensitivity sensor, so it generates usable images even at low light levels. The lower noise makes the image more visually pleasing and, in addition, the compression works more efficiently. The image in daytime conditions has correct colour reproduction and the camera itself switches to night mode later than with standard solutions.
Extended Dynamic Range (WDR) 120 dB

Correct operation of surveillance cameras in difficult lighting conditions is one of the top priorities of equipment manufacturers. The dynamic range of the sensor is a parameter which describes the ability of the camera to simultaneously register very bright and dark areas. Cameras with high dynamic range (WDR) perform better when observing frames with high lighting contrast. The image in most WDR-equipped cameras is created by exposing the sensor with different exposure settings (slow shutter for dark elements and fast shutter for bright elements). The resulting image is a combination of both frames and processing based on the algorithms set by the manufacturer.

H.265 compression (+)
Compression is a very important parameter proving the device advancement. The better the compression, the lower the bandwidth requirement with the same subjective quality. H.265 (HEVC - High Efficiency Video Coding) is currently the most efficient compression method. Compared to its predecessor (H.264), it reduces the data stream and the demand for disk capacity by half. Therefore, hard drives with a halved capacity can be used, or recordings can be stored for twice as long. Its improved version H.265+ has been optimized for use in CCTV monitoring systems. They allow for further reduction of data streams.

Privacy zones
Obscuring selected areas in the frame is an important element of surveillance systems. For this purpose, the privacy zones function has been introduced in the cameras. It allows certain parts of the camera's field of view to be made invisible (masked). Examples of places that require this are building windows, toilets in school bathrooms, prison bathrooms, etc. If these places were not masked, personnel with access to the monitoring equipment could violate the privacy of the monitored persons and thus break the applicable law.
PoE power supply
PoE (Power over Ethernet) is the name of the IEEE standard for powering network devices via a twisted pair cable while transmitting data. It is possible to power devices such as cameras, telephones, switches, access points, etc. The guaranteed distance over which power transmission is realised is 100 m. The two most popular standards are 802.03af, which guarantees a minimum power of 12.95 Watts for end devices, and 802.3at guaranteeing 25.5 Watts.
