The camera belongs to the WizSense series, a range of solutions designed for smart surveillance systems. Devices in this series feature an AI chipset responsible for analysing live video using deep learning algorithms. Thanks to this feature, the cameras can focus on the most important monitoring objective, namely the detection of people or vehicles. This improves the efficiency of the monitoring system, as unnecessary alarms are not sent to client applications or the monitoring centre.
The device has an audio input for connecting an external microphone, and an audio output to which a speaker with a built-in amplifier can be connected. This solution enables two-way communication, monitoring of the target location and audio recording.
The robust, metal, heated housing, certified to IP66, ensures the camera can be used outdoors even at low temperatures (operating range: -30°C to 60°C). The option of powering the camera via the PoE+ standard (802.3at) significantly reduces installation time and costs.

PTZ mechanism
The 4–40 mm varifocal lens allows for terrain observation at 10× magnification and offers field-of-view angles of 51°–11°, enabling the monitoring of vast and distant areas at a speed of 36°/s. Vertical movement is possible within a range of -15° to 90° at speeds of up to 40°/s.

Lite automatic object tracking function
The Autotracking Lite feature allows you to track the movement of people within the monitored area. This feature is recommended for locations where there are not many people moving around at the same time and the area under surveillance is small. Such cameras are used to monitor the areas in front of homes or small businesses.
Traditional motion detection worked by detecting changes in the intensity of light reaching a pixel (or larger groups of pixels) on the sensor. Any such change in light triggers detection, which is why the system picks up movement from objects that are irrelevant from a security perspective. Such motion detection is sensitive to, for example, leaves rustling in the wind, flying insects, birds, shadows or precipitation.
The SMD motion detection system can analyse motion detection events to distinguish between people and vehicles. This ensures that alarm notifications are filtered and unnecessary alarms are blocked. Recordings can be filtered to detect either people or vehicles.
Perimeter protection features – such as virtual line crossing and entry into a protected zone – are capable of recognising objects of interest. These features operate using a deep learning algorithm and can accurately distinguish between people and vehicles. As a result, false alarms caused by irrelevant objects can be significantly reduced. Recordings can be quickly filtered to isolate these objects.

Active deterrence
The function is designed to deter intruders through visual and audible alerts. The camera is equipped with red and blue LEDs that deter intruders by flashing. Acoustic signalling is provided by a loudspeaker, which can generate specific, predefined messages or an audible alarm that you can record yourself. The camera is also fitted with a microphone, so two-way communication with the person at the camera is possible, for example via a smartphone with a client app.
