The new SN-468C/W model has better resolution - 540 TVL (SN-468/C - 480 TVL), and possibility of changing the level of switching into B/W mode and vice versa. The camera has been equipped with mechanically switching IR filter.

The camera can cooperate with DC or Video Auto-Iris lenses.
Choosing a lens for the device it is important to remember not only about suitable focal length but also its overall quality, not to diminish the potential of this first-class camera.
For color Day/Night cameras we opt to use lenses marked "day/night" - specially prepared for IR operation - e.g. Computar 3 - 8.5 mm M2137.
Application of cheaper, lower-quality lenses
will effect in deterioration of quality of the whole camera-lens set.
There are many functions available in OSD menu, among others:
- Video/DC: adaptation to the AI lens used
- BLC: backlight compensation
- ES: electronic shutter
- NightView: night operation
- BLC OFF/ON: switching off/on, choice of 5 areas and gain adjustment
- AWT/AWB: Auto Tracing White Balance/Auto White Balance with manual preset
- DAY/NIGHT: adjustment of switching threshold (color into B/W mode and vice versa)
- PRIVACY : private sectors settings
- MIRROR : mirror image
- AE: electronic shutter - 1/50s, 1/120s, 1/100s, 1/250s, 1/500s, 1/1000s, 1/2000s, 1/4000s, 1/10000s, 1/1000000s
