Example of practical application allowing to:
  • receive terrestrial TV channels,
  • receive FM radio programs,
  • receive satellite broadcasts from two satellites,
    • receive FTA channels,
    • receive selected pay TV channels
  • watch the image from any IP CCTV camera on any TV set.
Two Quatro LNBs A98257 are connected with the R70808 multiswitch (via eight coaxial cables TRISET-113 E1015). In the diagram below, the inputs of the multiswitch connected with the second LNB (for a second satellite) are not visible (they are physically placed in the second row, behind the first). The use of twin-tuner PVR receivers requires installing two TRISET-113 E1015 cables from the multiswitch to the R694140 outlets. This will enable simultaneous viewing of one program and recording of another. The diagram shows two "single" receivers and one twin-tuner receiver.
The injection of the video information from IP CCTV cameras into an RF distribution network (a private or shared antenna system, (S)MATV/CATV network etc.) requires application of intermediate devices. In the case of using an NVR with HDMI output, these usually are HDMI - DVB-T modulators.
The MI520P R81609 transmodulator eliminates the need for an NVR. The device receives IP stream from the IP cameras with bit rate up to 80 Mbps and converts it to two configurable DVB-T COFDM, DVB-C/J.83B/ISDB-T multiplexes, with a maximum bit rate depending on the selected standard. The administrator of the system selects the required channels from the IP stream and creates any two DVB-T/DVB-C/J.83B/ISDB-T multiplexes (MUXes). The output RF signals are provided to televisions connected to the antenna system.

  • Triset-113 E1015 - TV/satellite cable for indoor applications,
  • Triset-113 PE E1017 - TV/satellite cable for outdoor applications.
The terrestrial antennas should be chosen according to local reception conditions.

An application example of the MI520 R81609 IP to DVB-T transmodulator in a small SMATV system. The stream from IP cameras is converted to the DVB-T standard and then provided to the multiswitch. The video from each camera is available as a separate channel on any television connected to the antenna system.
