On October 8-9, 2015, the Galaxy Hotel in Krakow hosted the 11th edition of Sat Krak Digital Television Fair - the largest event of its kind in Poland, gathering industry leaders of digital television and other media. This year, the guests had the opportunity to see new products, as well as to learn opinions of the industry experts.
DIPOL company, aside from proven solutions, presented a range of new products directed to installers of TV/SAT antenna systems, developers, individuals. This year we prepared a wide choice of products:

As every year, there was SAT KURIER AWARDS poll on the best TV/SAT devices. The awards for the best products in the field of digital television were given during the gala crowning the digital television exhibition SatKrak 2015. This year, DIPOL company got statuette for the series of HDMI extenders/converters, in the category "Best accessories". The line of products enables users to transmit HDMI signals over longer distances via various kinds of cables.
Reliable multiswitch solutionsin a new opening - TERRA net9
The multiswitches of MV-9XXL and MR-9XXL series have been primarily designed for medium- and large-size SMATV systems, but some models are also suitable for individual antenna systems with a number of outlets.
The die-cast housings of the devices provide high screening efficiency (class A) by preventing the penetration of interfering signals to the unit. High maximum output levels and compensation of the attenuation caused by coaxial cables, plus outputs with graded signal levels allow for building large systems with cable runs up to 80 meters (between outputs and subscriber outlets).
The built-in LTE filter blocking signals within the 791-862 MHz range eliminates the risk of interference from 800 MHz 4G LTE networks.
The multiswitches are equipped with active terrestrial TV paths. The adjustment of the SAT IF and DVB-T gain is made with dedicated switches. In comparison with potentiometers, this solution increases stability of the adjustments.

During Sat Krak we will present DIPOLNET Tri-Shield RG-6 E1220 cable dedicated for SMATV and CATV systems in multifamily buildings. This cable combines an attractive price and high quality parameters confirmed by the Telecommunications Equipment Testing Laboratory of the National Institute of Telecommunications in Warsaw. Fulfilling all the requirements for the shielding of A-class category, it can be used both in DVB-T and multiswitch signal distribution systems.

For the DIPOLNET Tri-Shield RG-6 E1220 we have prepared the dedicated compression F MASTER E80345 connector. Similarly to other connectors of MASTER series, double compression rings (on the cable and the O-ring seal on the connector side) fully protect the cable and the connection (also the equipment) against water penetration. Dimensions of the compression elements of the E80345 connector have been specially designed for use on cables with triple shielding.

IPTV TERRA headend converts DVB-T and satellite channels into IP streams distributed via Ethernet network. Thanks to television distribution technology based on IP, the cabling in a building can be limited only to one (data + IPTV) or two (separate for data and for IPTV) UTP/FTP cable(s). In addition to low cost of such cabling, the users get access to additional interactive features, and the programming can be adapted to their specific requirements.
A great advantage of this solution is also the possibility of comparatively simple and cheap conversion into fiber-optic medium in comparison to RF systems.
One of the main advantages of the Terra IPTV solution is no need for any middleware software between the headend and the receivers. As a result, the system is much cheaper (no software license fees) than other solutions and very simple in both configuration and operation. A unique feature of the system is the fact that the terminal units - R81612 IPTV receivers - do not require any configuration, which can be of great importance in the case of larger networks. They automatically detect any changes in the local network or the programming.
DVB-T modulators
For the last two years, analog TV modulators have become a little obsolete. Digital modulators ensure high image quality and standard uniformity in the case of integration with an antenna installation or modern TV distribution system based on a digital headend.
Over that period, DIPOL has introduced a uniform range of high quality DVB-T modulators at competitive pricing, with excellent performance parameters and high reliability. The modulators with HDMI inputs provide excellent solutions for hospitals, stores and shopping malls, supermarkets and electronics stores in which HD content from one or two sources should be delivered to multiple TVs. Such devices are also ideal for MATV/SMATV systems integrated with video surveillance systems - they can distribute the CCTV signal from a modern DVR, containing up to 16 images (in screen division) from security cameras. The images can be watched on any HD television connected to the antenna system.
DVB-T modulators with analog A/V inputs can also distribute CCTV images, but with resolution limited to SD standard. They can be employed to inject surveillance video into antenna systems, as well as to distribute SD video from any other sources.

Fiber splicing has never been so easy!
One of the basic issues connected with fiber optic technology is fiber splicing. Due to the price of the hardware needed to perform these operations, this field of activity was reserved for specialized companies.
