DisplayPort - HDMI cable 2 m 4K

Cable with a lenght of 2 m enabling audio/video transmission between devices equipped with DisplayPort and HDMI connectors. DisplayPort (DP) is a universal digital interface approved in May 2006, developed by VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association). Its main purpose is to connect a computer to a monitor or home theater system (including projectors, large-format displays, televisions, etc.).

DisplayPort supports 1 to 4 transmission lines that transmit audio and video at 1.62 or 2.7 Gbps (maximum 10.8 Gbps with four lines). This standard allows for simultaneous bidirectional exchange of information. Bidirectional auxiliary channels operate at a fixed speed of 1 Mbps, which allows management and control of the data stream in accordance with the VESA EDID and VESA MCCS standards. The video signal can be DVI and HDMI if transmitting device has the ability to switch the signal type from DisplayPort to HDMI, DVI or VGA. The signal can also be protected by DRM technology.

DisplayPort can optionally be equipped with DPCP (DisplayPort Content Protection), a copy protection developed by Philips that uses the 128-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm.
