The H3625 item is additional receiver for extending the number of TVs/monitors capable of receiving HDMI signal from a remote source, provided by the Signal-HD HDMI to IP converter/extender H3624. The H3624 set enables the user to connect remote (up to 100 m) source of HD content to HD-enabled television/monitor, using one CAT5e/6 cable. The set includes transmitter and receiver units which should be powered remotely via a PoE switch, e.g. N29980. The additional H3625 receiver should be powered in the same way. The user can control the source of the signal from the location of the television/monitor (function of IR extender).

IP signal coming from the transmitter of the H3624 set may be applied to an Ethernet switch to split it among multiple receivers. The bit rate of the compressed signal at the output of the transmitter is about 15 Mbps (multicast transmission). The output signals can be properly decoded only by the dedicated H3625 receivers - it cannot be done by a PC equipped with a network card. H3604 and H3605 devices are not compatible with the system.
The system is perfect for connecting remote HD source like sat receiver, Blu-ray player, PC, game console etc. to HD-enabled TVs/monitors/projectors. The connection to each of the TVs/monitors requires to use only one, comparatively thin cable, which makes it easy to hide it, e.g. when installing the TV/monitor on an LCD/LED mount.

The device uses High-Definition Digital Bit Transmission Technology (HDbitT). HDbitT is a protocol used for professional delivery/transmission of high-quality image and audio over IP networks. The protocol supports video resolutions of up to 4Kx2K @ 60Hz, transmitted wirelessly or over network cables, electrical installations, optical fibers, or coaxial cables.
