The Hikvision DS-2CD7A46G0-IZS dome camera is dedicated for use in CCTV systems based on IP NVRs. It is fitted with a 4 MP 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and an IR illuminator with a range up to 30 m to ensure proper visibility in low-light conditions. It has a varifocal 2.8 – 12 mm Motozoom type lens, enabling remote viewing angle change in the range 110° – 39°. The lens focuses automatically after the focal length change. The IP67 rated housing protects the inside electronic components from adverse weather conditions. The camera can be powered conventionally with 12 VDC or through PoE (compliant with the 802.3at standard).

The image analysis performed by the camera is based on deep learning algorithms. They simulate the structure of the human brain. Like in the brain, the process of learning builds connections between artificial neurons (programs) and creates a multi-layered artificial neural network. The algorithms independently analyze the model photos and recordings, creating the right connections. In this way, they create so-called layers responsible for detecting specific features. The more layers the algorithms have, the more accurate the analysis.
Multilayer networks can collect information and perform appropriate actions, primarily automatic extraction and representation of features (patterns) present in the data that teach the network, resulting in recognizing faces, vehicle makes, animal species, or events such as fall of a person.

Available functions based on deep machine learning:

The camera can be used both, in CCTV systems and for a real time control of people flows. Installed near the passage to be monitored (the maximum angle is 15^o), the camera counts the number of people moving in a given direction (entering and leaving).
A virtual zone is created in the camera configuration, the exceeding of which causes the counter change. The people detection is based on deep learning algorithms and ensures high accuracy, even when there are more people in the passage.

The counting camera is ideal for commercial facilities, where it notifies about exceeding the set limit of customers. That can be notified by a change in the color of the stack light connected to the alarm output of the camera or NVR (ECO solution). The HIGH-END solution with the Series I NVR enables visualization of the number of people on the monitor (the number of people and the limit available, color scheme indicating when the limit of customers is exceeded).

For more entrances and exits, a system based on the Series I NVR can be created or the Hik-Central software can be used.
