The DSM50 (HW6180) R10829 satellite meter/finder is used for quick and precise alignment of satellite dishes and measurements of satellite DVB-S/DVB-S2 (HD) signals.
A clear menu facilitates the work of every user. The manufacturer has preinstalled tens of satellite positions (satellites + transponders), including DVB-S2 transponders with HD channels. The list can be further edited. The "Pakiet TP" function allows for quick measurements of all transponders of a satellite with results given in one table (signal levels in dBμV, C/N ratios). The device is powered from built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery (1700 mAh, AC charger included).
The measurements of signal level (dBμV, dBm) and quality (as a percentage plus C/N) allow for precise alignment of the dish, LNB, as well as multiswitches and amplifiers in SMATV systems.
A practical design of the device includes flashlight and protective rubber case.
