The DD 2400 R10205 professional signal meter allows to measure DVB-S/DVB-S2 (HD) satellite signal, DVB-T/T2 (HD) terrestrial TV signal with HEVC 10 Bit compression and DVB-C cable signal. The unquestionable advantage of the device is its clear and easy-to-use user interface, which facilitates operation on a high-resolution 7" TFT-LCD display with automatic brightness adjustment and preview of the received channel. The DD 2400 meter allows you to measure such parameters as: signal level expressed in dBμV (measurement range 20...120 dBμV), MER, Noise Margin, CBER, VBER, which allows you to set up any terrestrial and satellite TV antenna, tune filters, select amplifiers, etc. The meter has a built-in tuner for constant preview of the channel being set. Spectrum distribution analyzer especially for terrestrial TV allows visualization of strong interfering LTE signals (Max Hold function for real-time comparison), which can negatively affect the quality of DVB-T2 signal, cause interference and interfere with proper reception of digital terrestrial TV. Moreover, the HDMI output allows you to connect a signal source and display the image on TV via HDMI cable. A car charger is included.
Each DD 2400 meter comes with a certificate of calibration which proves top quality workmanship and ensures the reliability of the measurements made in TV systems.
Professional spectrum distribution analyzer
Diagnosing the type and levels of signals often requires specialized methods. They will provide the information obtained as a basis for proper analysis and interpretation of making changes to the installation. One of the functionalities that provide such data is a spectrum analyzer (spectrogram), which examines and analyzes the frequency spectrum of all signals in the system. A signal spectrum is the distribution of the intensity of desired signals and interfering signals (especially LTE) as a function of frequency. A spectrum analyzer, as the name suggests, performs spectral analysis of signals. There are 3 modes of operation of the spectrogram: spectrum distribution (normal line), Max Hold mode and "Waterfall" mode.
The above screenshots show the spectrum of DVB-T2 signal with narrow spectrum (left image) and with wide spectrum (right image).
The spectrum distribution analyzer, especially for terrestrial TV, allows you to view strong interfering LTE signals which can adversely affect the quality of DVB-T2 signal causing interference and interfering with proper reception of terrestrial digital TV.

Max Hold function enables the real-time detection on the spectrum of signals from unknown sources that may cause interference with useful signals. In the diagram, the peak caused by the action of a remote control for building automation.
Custom program lists
Custom program lists allow the installer to make quick measurements without tediously searching the entire DVB-T/T2, or DVB-S/S2 band. The meter has a unique function of creating mixed channel lists covering channels from different bands, including DVB-T/T2 multiplexes and satellite transponders. When taking measurements and switching between channels in the list, the meter will automatically adjust and run necessary functions such as LNB control signals, etc. The installer does not have to worry about switching between terrestrial TV/Satellite TV/Cable TV measurement modes as most meters do.
Saving measurement results and reports.
The device has the ability to save the measurement results to a file on an external USB memory stick. The meter performs automatic measurement FOR ALL programs found in the channel list created by the user, even when they are channels/transponders from terrestrial and satellite TV. This unique function allows you to automatically take a number of measurements and save the results to a single file. This saves a tremendous amount of time, especially when it is necessary to take measurements serially in order to make the report required by the investor.
View of the on-line report generator.
The files created by the meter can be used to generate measurement reports. For this purpose, you can use the software provided by the manufacturer or use Dipol's on-line toolwhich allows you to generate professional reports containing data selected by the installer, tables with measurement results and screenshots (signal spectrum, constellation diagram, etc.).
