The Etrix GR-24K HDMI Grabber is a device that captures video and audio signals from an HDMI port, allowing them to be recorded or transmitted live to a computer via a USB interface.
The device converts the HDMI signal into a format recognised by the system as a webcam, so no additional drivers need to be installed and it works in plug & play mode. Once connected, the computer automatically detects the signal source, which can be used in recording and live broadcasting programmes such as Camera (Windows), OBS Studio, VLC or other video editing applications.

The unit has been designed with low latency in mind, making it ideal for configuring various devices with HDMI output. This is particularly practical for CCTV DVRs, set-top boxes or other rack-mounted devices where there is no permanently connected monitor. This makes it possible to quickly view the image and access settings without having to connect an additional screen. An additional advantage is the USB-C connector, which allows the device to be connected not only to a computer, but also to an OTG-enabled smartphone, allowing convenient viewing directly on the phone.
