The L56083 GFP-8E pole-mounted coupler has two main cable ports and 8 (+1) subscriber DROP cable ports.
The GFP-8E is a box-type joint equipped with 11(12) inlet/outlet ports. This type of joint is used to protect spliced fibre optic cables and splitter systems in overhead and wall mounted installations. The Polycarbonate (PC) material making up the enclosure is made from a high quality material that is resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, and chemicals, making it suitable for both overhead, duct and buried installations. It is designed for uncomplicated and efficient installation, while offering a proven fibre management system. The staggered entrances for trunk cables allow the distribution cable to be installed without having to cut all the fibres. Coupler for use both inside and outside the facility.
It has a cassette with a maximum of 8 splices and a panel for 4 SC simplex/LC duplex adapters.
