8-port Gigabit switch TP-Link TL-SG105 finds widespread use in small and medium computer networks. Due to Auto MDI/MDIX function it does not bother the installer about the problem of straightforward or crossover cables.
IGMP Snooping feature gives control of network traffic by grouping of users into multicast groups. To ensure the effectiveness of data transfer, the switch periodically sends requests to the groups and creates an address array. This allows multicast packets to be sent only to selected points, without spreading them in the whole network. This feature is often used in IPTV solutions.
