Key features
The set of DS-1H18 baluns allows for transmission of video signal from one source via a twisted pair cable. Thanks to small size of the baluns and combination with BNC plugs there are no problems with direct connections to BNC sockets of DVRs, even when they are densely packed.
The balun matches the impedance of unbalanced 75 ohm output/input with 100 ohm impedance of balanced line, and vice versa. In the case of a UTP/FTP cat. 5 cable, the transmission line can reach 150 meters (signals from HD-TVI, HDCVI, AHD cameras) or 400 meters (signals from CVBS cameras).
The set is compatible with PoC (Power over Coax) systems.
The installer should pay attention to connecting the appropriate leads to the correct terminals: (+) to (+) and (-) to (-). Improper connection will cause interference.
