Details
Note: version 4.0 is not compatible with version 3.0 and 2.0 devices.
Signal HD HDMI to IP converter enables the user to connect high-definition signal (HD) to a receiver (TV set, monitor) equipped with HDMI interface via CAT5e or CAT6 cable. The receiver enables the user to receive the transmitted signal and display it on the TV set. By using multiple receivers, the same image can be displayed on multiple receivers.
The IP signal coming out of the transmitter can be fed to an Ethernet switch to be split between a larger number of receivers. The throughput of the compressed signal at the transmitter output is approximately 15 Mbit/s. A suitable receiver is required to decode the signal correctly - viewing the image on a PC equipped with a network card is not possible. Transmission takes place via a unicast connection. The device is not compatible with H3604 and H3605.
The unit is ideal for connecting a satellite receiver, DVD player, computer or console to a receiver remote from the equipment. Only one twisted-pair cable needs to be run to the TV, which makes the device easier to install and improves the look of a wall-mounted TV installation using LCD bracket.
Key features:
- transmission via one cat 5e/6 cable
- UDP/IP transmission (unicast)
- multipoint connectivity
- 1080p picture mode
- maximum cable length 100 m

An application of the HDMI > IP converter/extender (point-to-point)
The device carries out transmission using the HDbitT protocol (High-Definition Digital Bit Transmission Technology). This protocol is used for the professional provision/transmission of high-quality video and audio over an IP network. The HDbitT protocol enables the transmission of video with a resolution of up to 4Kx2K @ 60 Hz via network cables, electrical installation, optical fibre, coaxial cables or wirelessly.
