Details
Note: version 4.0 is not compatible with version 3.0 and 2.0 devices.
The Signal-HD HDMI to IP converter enables the user to connect remote (up to 100 m) source of HD content to HD-enabled television/monitor, using one CAT5e/6 cable. The set includes transmitter and receiver units.
IP signal coming from the transmitter may be applied to an Ethernet switch to split it among multiple receivers. The bit rate of the compressed signal at the output of the transmitter is about 15 Mbps (multicast transmission). The output signals can be properly decoded only by the dedicated receivers - it cannot be done by a PC equipped with a network card. The set is not compatible with H3604 and H3605 devices.
The set is perfect for connecting remote HD source like sat receiver, Blu-ray player, PC, game console etc. to HD-enabled TV/monitor/projector. It requires to use only one, comparatively thin cable, which makes it easy to hide it, e.g. when installing the TV/monitor on an LCD/plasma mount.

An application of the HDMI > IP converter/extender (point-to-point)
An application of HDMI > IP converter/extender units (point-to-multipoint)
The converter/extender uses High-Definition Digital Bit Transmission Technology (HDbitT). HDbitT is a protocol used for professional delivery/transmission of high-quality image and audio over IP networks. The protocol supports video resolutions of up to 4Kx2K @ 60Hz, transmitted wirelessly or over network cables, electrical installations, optical fibers, or coaxial cables.
