Details
Note: version 4.0 is not compatible with version 3.0 and 2.0 devices.
The Signal HD HDMI to IP converter enables you to connect a high-definition (HD) signal to a receiver (TV set, monitor) equipped with an HDMI connection via a CAT5e or CAT6 cable. The set includes a transmitter and a receiver.
The IP signal coming out of the transmitter can be fed to an Ethernet switch to be split between a larger number of receivers. The throughput of the compressed signal at the transmitter output is approximately 15 Mbit/s. A suitable receiver is required to decode the signal correctly - viewing the image on a PC equipped with a network card is not possible. Transmission takes place via a multicast connection (stream of approximately 15 Mbit/s). The device is not compatible with codecs: H3604 and H3605.
The device is ideal for connecting a satellite receiver, DVD player, computer or console to a receiver away from the equipment. Only one twisted-pair cable needs to be connected to the TV, which makes the device easy to install and improves the look of a wall-mounted TV installation using LCD bracket.
Key features:
- transmission via one CAT 5e/6 cable
- UDP/IP (multicast) transmission
- multipoint connectivity
- 1080p picture mode
- maximum cable length 100 m

The device carries out transmission using the HDbitT protocol (High-Definition Digital Bit Transmission Technology). This protocol is used for the professional provision/transmission of high-quality video and audio over an IP network. The HDbitT protocol enables the transmission of video with a resolution of up to 4Kx2K @ 60 Hz via network cables, electrical installation, optical fibre, coaxial cables or wirelessly.
