The DS-KAD706Y is an audio, video and power distributor dedicated to work with Hikvision 2nd generation video door entry system in 2-wire system. The distributor has 6 2-Wire ports (CH1-CH6) dedicated for connecting and powering monitors, of which one port (CH6) with a load capacity of max. 16 W, allows the connection of the main module of the door station. The IN and OUT ports allow further expansion of the system using the DS-KAD706Y-S distributor. After connecting the distributor to the network LAN via RJ-45, each supported device is assigned with its own IP address and is visible and configurable, as in the case of IP video intercoms. The distributor is powered by 24 VDC from an external power supply.
The device is compatible with the 2-Wire system
which has in its designation name the letter "Y".
