Details
The iDS-2CD2T47G2-XS/PP is a Hikvision IP bullet camera from the DeepinViewX series, designed for advanced surveillance and perimeter protection. Thanks to its built-in deep learning-based object detection and classification algorithms, the camera provides effective perimeter protection, enabling the monitoring of events such as line crossing, intrusion into a designated area, entering and exiting a zone. The operating range of the VCA functions is from 3 m to 70 m during the day and from 3 m to 50 m at night. The algorithms used significantly reduce the number of false alarms triggered by environmental factors such as leaves, lights, animals or fluttering flags, ensuring more precise and reliable detection of genuine threats.
The camera is equipped with a large 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor with a resolution of 4 Mpix, characterised by very high sensitivity and the ability to capture images in low-light conditions. The camera features a very bright F1.0 lens with a focal length of 2.8 mm, which enables high image sharpness when viewing at an angle of 104°. A hybrid IR illuminator and LED white light with a range of up to 80 m ensures clear viewing at night. Support for both older and the latest H.265(+) compression methods allows for extended recording retention times whilst maintaining excellent image quality and ensuring backwards compatibility. Additional features to enhance image quality, such as AGC, 3D-DNR, AI WDR (120 dB), BLC, HLC, EIS, lens distortion correction and built-in video analytics (VCA), enable the camera to be used for advanced projects. The camera can be powered conventionally via DC 12 V or via PoE (compliant with the 802.3at standard).

DeepinViewX – intelligent video analytics based on Guanlan’s large-scale AI models
DeepinViewX is a new generation of Hikvision network cameras that utilises Guanlan’s large-scale AI models to precisely detect, classify and analyse objects and events. The technology has been developed to address the challenges still faced by traditional video analytics systems – limited detection effectiveness at long distances, the impact of adverse weather conditions and numerous false alarms.
The cameras are designed, amongst other things, for perimeter security, where small objects located far from the camera, variable lighting, rain, snow or fog can significantly hinder the correct analysis of the image. The cameras offer twice the VCA range, reduce false alarms by up to 99 per cent and cut the number of repeated alarms by 50 per cent.
DarkFighter 2.0
DarkFighter 2.0 is an advanced image processing technology designed for round-the-clock video surveillance in challenging lighting conditions. Thanks to the use of an AI ISP (Artificial Intelligence Image Signal Processor), the technology optimises image capture parameters in real time, enabling clear, detailed and colourful images to be captured even in very low light.
DarkFighter 2.0 minimises the trade-off between night-time image brightness and the sharpness of fast-moving objects. In traditional cameras, increasing the exposure time can improve visibility in the dark, but at the same time lead to blurring of moving objects. DarkFighter 2.0 utilises advanced image processing mechanisms to simultaneously improve scene visibility, reduce noise and minimise motion blur. This makes it possible to capture clearer details, such as the number plate of a fast-moving vehicle, even in very low-light conditions.
DarkFighter 2.0 minimises the trade-off between night-time image brightness and the sharpness of fast-moving objects. Key technologies:
- SharpMotion – reduces noise and motion blur, ensuring that moving subjects remain clearer
- ShotN – uses flexible exposure settings to better capture various moving subjects, even when they are moving at different speeds
- AWDR (Auto Wide Dynamic Range) – automatically adjusts the image to changing lighting conditions, e.g. when there are both very bright and very dark areas in the frame at the same time
- High frame rate (High FPS) – ensures smoother motion reproduction and increases the chance of obtaining usable frames when a subject is moving quickly. The camera can produce a 4K image at 60 fps and a 2 MP image at 120 fps)
Compression is a very important parameter proving the device advancement. The better the compression, the lower the bandwidth requirement with the same subjective quality. H.265 (HEVC - High Efficiency Video Coding) is currently the most efficient compression method. Compared to its predecessor (H.264), it reduces the data stream and the demand for disk capacity by half. Therefore, hard drives with a halved capacity can be used, or recordings can be stored for twice as long. Its improved version H.265+ has been optimized for use in CCTV monitoring systems. They allow for further reduction of data streams.

iVMS-4200 is client software dedicated to the management and supervision of Hikvision security systems, such as recorders (IP, TurboHD), video intercoms, access control, set-top boxes, etc. The software allows you to easily and conveniently monitor all systems by offering viewing from IP cameras, remote playback of recordings, remote configuration, handling of alarm events, two-way audio transmission, e-map support, recording to a HDD and many more.

A mobile application Hik-Connect is dedicated to operate Hikvision devices using cell phones with the operating system Android or iOS. It can be used to remotely view live video from DVR, NVR, network cameras, video intercoms using Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G networks as well as to view recorded video. Video intercoms can be operated with the application which additionally allows for remote opening of electric doors, receiving notifications and transferring calls from the entrance panel to the phone in the absence of the resident. The application supports connectivity via IP and the P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of a cloud-based service that allows access to devices in the absence of an external IP address.

The main window of the SADP software
SADP (Search Active Device Protocol) is a free, easy-to-use utility designed to search for Hikvision IP cameras and DVRs/NVRs in the local network. The network device search tool can also be used to modify device network parameters, e.g. to change or recover default passwords.
