AWS-1030 is designed for work in individual and community antenna installations. The amplifier has individual band inputs (FM, VHF III, UHF1, UHF2) so it eliminates the need of employing antenna diplexer. The UHF1 input allows powering an preamplifier put in this path.
The set includes AC/DC adapter (12V 250 mA output, 3.5mm jack). The amplifier can be powered locally, or through coaxial cable via its output (with use of DC/RF separator AZS-03 C0397). The included AC/DC adapter is then connected with the separator in a suitable place, whereas the amplifier is placed e.g. in the attic. In such situation, when there is a need for a splitter - it has to be one with DC pass, e.g. E2094.
AWS-103x amplifiers are equipped with solid, cast metal housing, which protects them against external interferences.
