Details
The ULTIPOWER PoE switch is an industrial device enabling smooth data transmission in 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet networks. Its four RJ45 10/100/1000 Mb/s PoE ports support auto-negotiation function. The switch automatically detects PD devices compliant with IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at standard and provides them with power supply. This way, it is easy to power network devices located in places without access to AC lines, such as access points, IP cameras, IP phones etc. The switch has also been equipped with one RJ45 10/100/1000 Mb/s port with PD function (the switch can be powered from another device, up to 60 W) and two SFP 1000 Mbps ports allowing for the use of SFP modules and optical transmission medium.
Switches of this type should be used in installations in industrial facilities, where unfavourable conditions for the operation of equipment may occur, such as increased dust, high or low temperature or high humidity. Installation of industrial switches is also recommended in the case of pole-mounted installations - in hermetic enclosures. The switches have Ethernet ports (Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet, depending on the model) for connecting devices such as IP cameras or computers. ULTIPOWER industrial switches have an enclosure that meets the IP40 standard (protection against access to hazardous parts, protection against foreign solids with a diameter of more than 1 mm). All ports have the ability to supply PoE power to the devices connected to them.
Additional functions:
- PoE Auto Check function for automatic power restart of a non-responsive device (NOTICE: the function must be switched off for software updates of the connected devices)
- PD function allows for powering the device via the dedicated Ethernet port (max. 60 W)
