Details
The ULTIPOWER PoE switch is an industrial-type device for smooth network transmission. It allows connections at a speed of 10/100/1000 Mbps. It has 8 RJ45 10/100 Mbps ports supporting auto-negotiation of connection speeds and Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. The switch automatically detects PD (Power Device) devices operating under the IEEE 802.3af/at standard and provides them with power. In addition, two ports support HiPoE power (90 W). This allows network coverage to be extended in locations where there is no access to power sockets or lines, and where there is a need to place access points, IP cameras, IP telephones, etc. The switch is additionally equipped with two 1000 Mbps SFP uplink ports and 1 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 port.
Switches of this type should be used in installations in industrial facilities, where unfavourable conditions for the operation of equipment may occur, such as increased dust, high or low temperature or high humidity. Installation of industrial switches is also recommended in the case of pole-mounted installations - in hermetic enclosures. The switches have Ethernet ports (Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet, depending on the model) for connecting devices such as IP cameras or computers. ULTIPOWER industrial switches have an enclosure that meets the IP40 standard (protection against access to hazardous parts, protection against foreign solids with a diameter of more than 1 mm). All ports have the ability to supply PoE power to the devices connected to them.
Additional functions:
- extended mode allowing for connecting PoE devices over distances up to 250 m
- PoE Auto Check function for automatic power restart of a non-responsive device (NOTICE: the function must be switched off for software updates of the connected devices)
