SAFETY MEASURES

1. Use personal protective equipment such as safety goggles and gloves.
2. When cutting fiber optics, place waste in special containers to prevent accidental cuts with fiber fragments.
3. Never touch exposed fiber optic ends with bare hands - they can cause micro-injuries to the skin.
4. Never look directly into an optical fiber - light signals (e.g., lasers) can damage your vision.
5. Before working, check that the optical fiber is disconnected from the active device.
6. Do not crush, bend or pull cables beyond their allowable bending radii - this can damage the fiber.
7. If the cable is damaged, cut off the damaged part using dedicated tools.
8. If the patchcord is damaged, replace it with a new one.
9. Avoid entanglement of cables.
10. During installation, guide and lay cables in such a way, so that they do not cause bystanders to fall.
11. Use cable markings (such as colored cable ties or labels) to identify circuits to make future maintenance easier.
12. Avoid pulling cables through sharp edges or elements that can damage the insulation.
13. For cables packaged in longer lengths, when their weight exceeds 20 kg, boxes and/or spools should be carried by 2 persons.
14. When rolling the spool on the ground, be aware of the surroundings.
15. Cables should be connected to the device when the optical line is inactive.
