The MI520P IP to DVB transmodulator converts IP stream provided in the UDP/RTP protocol (unicast/multicast, SPTS and MPTS), and RTSP/ONVIF streaming from IP cameras, to a DVB format (DVB-T COFDM/DVB-C/J.83B/ISDB- T).

Video from the IP CCTV cameras enters the MI520 R81609 modulator and is distributed from its output in the form of DVB-T signal in a SMATV system. The image from each camera is available in the system as a separate DVB-T channel.

The MI520P R81609 transmodulator converts IP stream provided in the UDP/RTP protocol (unicast/multicast, SPTS and MPTS), and RTSP/ONVIF streaming from IP cameras, to a DVB format (DVB-T COFDM/DVB-C/J.83B/ISDB-T). The device receives IP stream with bit rate up to 80 Mbps and converts it to two configurable DVB-T COFDM, DVB-C/J.83B/ISDB-T multiplexes, with a maximum bit rate depending on the selected standard. The administrator of the system selects the required channels from the IP stream and creates any two DVB-T/DVB-C/J.83B/ISDB-T multiplexes (MUXes). The output RF signals e.g. in DVB-T COFDM standard is provided to televisions connected to the antenna system. The RF distribution network usually employs splitters and taps.
The configuration of MI520P R81609 is completely performed via a web browser, no need for any programming device.
The transmodulator can be integrated with other components:
- media converters, which can transmit IP signal via optical medium,
- IPTV streamers allowing for management of satellite, terrestrial and DVB-C programming through Ethernet (LAN) network based on twisted-pair cabling,
- security IP cameras (recommended HikVision brand) that provide IP stream in H.264 or H.265 standard, converted directly by the transmodulator to DVB form easily distributable in antenna systems. Video stream from each camera can be available on separate TV channel.
