IP camera Pixord P412 has been equipped with vandal-proof and watertight housing. It is a perfect device for using in all places where there is a risk of malicious actions. It is an outdoor day/night camera that can be used in professional CCTV systems in businesses, offices, stores, shopping molls, banks, government buildings, housing developments etc., based on IP technology.

  • integration with any IP monitoring system,
  • remote viewing of images via Internet Explorer from any place in the world,
  • remote management of cameras via Internet Explorer from any place in the world,
  • Pan-Tilt control via Internet Explorer from any place in the world,
  • analog video signal on BNC output, parallel to IP interface,
  • capturing viewed images (as JPEG) on the computer (any moment during watching video via Internet Explorer),
  • full-duplex audio - listening to the environment and possibility of making announcements / sending sound from client computer),
  • remote recording of video via Internet Explorer,

  • remote viewing of images via VLC or Quick Time Player,
  • performing programmed actions after motion detection (up to three areas) and/or activation of alarm input:
    • recording of short AVI files or JPEG pictures on SD card,

The housing of the camera is vandal- and water-proof. It allows to use the camera in places exposed to acts of vandalism. Due to IP66 rating there is possibility of employing the device in any weather or industrial conditions.
P412 has been equipped with 1/3'' CCD sensor (video resolution - 540 TVL, sensitivity - 0.1 lx (color) and 0 lx (B/W, IR on), and mechanically switching IR filter. The included varifocal AI lens is adjustable from 3.7 to 12 mm, at F1.6. The camera has jack connector for opptional external microphone. Both the image and sound have DVD-like quality. Two LEDs placed in Ethernet socket give information on power status and transmission activity. The reset button restores default settings. The camera is also equipped with:
  • 12VDC input (power from the included AC/DC adapter),
  • RJ45 connector - network interface,
  • BNC connector - analog video output,
  • microphone jack - for connecting external microphone,
  • audio jack - for connecting external speakers,
  • alarm input,
  • alarm output,
  • SD (Secure Digital) interface - for recording of pictures (JPEG) or short video clips (AVI) on (motion detection).
P412 can stream video in MPEG-4 format, with Full D1 resolution (720x576) at 25 fps. Its resolution can be reduced to 4CIF, CIF, or QCIF. It is possible two-way audio transmission (Full Duplex).
In each video format the user can set compression level which influences image quality and bandwidth requirements. Additionally, it is possible to choose CBR or VBR option. The camera can send two streams (Dual Stream mode), but the maximum frame rate (of the main stream) is reduced to 15 fps.
Configuration options of the embedded firmware:
  • remote access to information on camera (firmware version, MAC address),
  • synchronization of date and time with NTP server or computer,
  • defining access rights (administrator, or user/guest),
  • remote update of firmware,
  • remote restart, restoring default settings; saving configuration on remote computer,
  • assignment of IP address from DHCP server or insertion of static parameters (IP address, subnetwork mask, default gateway, DNS server),
  • change of standard ports (camera management, MJPEG, sound: port 80 - http) and MPEG-4 (port 554 - RTSP), UPnP option,
  • PPPoE settings,
  • DynDNS settings,
  • image settings (brightness, contrast, color),
  • settings of both streams: resolution, compression level, VBR or CBR streaming, GOP size, frame rate),
  • audio on/off,
  • PT settings,
  • settings of: motion detection areas, choice of action after motion has been detected in the active areas, choice of file format (JPEG or AVI); pre-alarm and post-alarm options; test of network connection with registration of anomalies on SD card,
  • settings of alarm input and output,
  • choice of destination FTP server for the JPEG picture/AVI file, choice of mail addresses of the source and destination user,
  • remote access to camera log,
  • remote management (viewing, deleting) of the pictures/AVI files recorded on SD card.
