Details
The LogiLink NP0079N is a specialised break-away safety adapter designed to protect RJ45 ports and connected network devices from mechanical damage. In the event of an accidental tug or pull on the cable, the connection is safely disconnected at a force of approximately 10 N, minimising the risk of the RJ45 socket being torn out or the device being damaged.
The adapter is manufactured to the Cat.6A S/FTP standard and is fitted with a shielded RJ45 plug and socket with gold-plated contacts. The cable used features AWG26 copper conductors and an LSZH halogen-free sheath. The total length of the adapter, including the connectors, is 20 cm. Its design allows the adapter to be easily connected between a device or network socket and a standard patch cable.
