The Sunell SN-IPC54/40EDN K1637 megapixel camera is equipped with APTINA 1/2.5" image sensor with resolution of 2592x1920 pixels. It allows for capturing a much greater amount of detail compared to 2MP/FullHD cameras, not to mention "classic" D1/4CIF devices. So, the camera provides 2.5 times more pixels than a FullHD camera and 12 times more pixels than a D1/4CIF camera!
Thanks to mechanically switching IR filter and day/night modes the camera can provide high quality footage in any conditions, including dark places. H.264 compression ensures economical high-quality video recording with relatively low consumption of hard disk space.
The K1637 camera has the ability to backup surveillance data to network drives - NAS and FTP servers. The entire configuration of both the camera and NAS server is done via a web browser, and the video recording process does not require any additional software. This advantage is very useful for economical video surveillance systems, where the installation and maintenance costs are the key issue. The user may configure own NVR server eliminating the need for external 24/7 services.
Web access to a video stream from the camera performed via IE requires installation of ActiveX controls. Alternative browsers (Firefox, Opera, Chrome) do not need any plug-ins or patches - thanks to Flash technology the image is directly displayed by the respective browser.
The camera has the following adjustments:

- max bitrate - besides the proposed values the user can set any value within 100-12000 kbps range.
Thanks to Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), the camera can simultaneously broadcast the video to multiple users via streaming servers.K1637 supports the following alarm events:
- motion detection,
- disk overflow.

The resource CD-ROM provides free NVMS NVR software for configuring and managing up to 36 Sunell IP cameras. The utility automatically searches the cameras in the Ethernet network and allows for quick implementation of the monitoring system based on Sunell equipment.
