According to the definitions of the SD Association (organization dedicated to the standardization of the cards), the class 10 speed rating means the minimum writing/reading performance at a level of 10 MB/s. However, in the case of modern phones, tablets, and media players, the key feature is not only the speed but also the way of data flow control. Therefore, the latest GOODRAM microSDHC cards make use of UHS-I bus (Ultra High Speed). The UHS-I interface is ideal for recording and playback of high-definition video, especially for Full HD video recording and consecutive recording of HD still images. The GOODRAM microSDHC UHS-I card is backward compatible with devices based on 2.0 standard. In such cases, the card will work with minimum operating parameters corresponding to the class 10 speed rating (min. 10 MB/s).
