The GFM-144(F) metal distribution housing has been designed for use in various conditions. The electrostatically powder-coated installation housing is resistant to corrosion as well as to low and high temperatures in an outdoor environment.
The degree of protection for the housing is IP65 (6 – dust-proof protection, 5 – protection against water jet poured onto the housing from either side). The construction of the box allows it to be mounted on telecommunication poles (accessories included: brackets, metal clamps, screws), and on flat surfaces (4 holes on the back).
The housing has 3 holes with rubber plugs for trunk and distribution cables, optionally with cable glands. The holes are located in the bottom of the box. The inside of the box is equipped with 144 ports for SC simplex or LC duplex fiber optic adapters. The kit includes twelve fiber optic trays for 12 splices (24 in the case of double splices), screwed to the rear wall. The cable holder can safely hold 72 subscriber cables with a diameter up to 3 mm. The box enables easy organization and management of optical fibers and cables (patch cords, pigtails, subscriber cables, distribution cables).
The GFM-144(F) distribution box is a perfect solution for building local area networks, FTTx broadband telecommunications systems, and CATV systems.
