Details
Multiswitches from MV series are dedicated for medium and large SMATV systems with distribution of SAT IF and terrestrial TV signals, however they can also be used in smaller installations.
The MV-516 R70716 multiswitch has active (amplified) terrestrial and satellite TV paths. Signal level adjustment for each of the satellite and DVB-T paths is performed using dedicated switches. This configuration ensures greater stability of the set parameters in relation to traditional solutions based on potentiometers.
The cast housing ensures high screening efficiency, which prevents interfering signals from penetrating inside the device. The high level of output signal, built-in pre-correction of attenuation characteristics of coaxial cables and graded attenuation of multiswitch outputs enable the construction of large installations, where the length of subscriber connections can reach up to 80 m.
Key features:
- radial structure
- built-in compensation of cable attenuation
- groups of outputs with different output levels
- isolation between outputs better than 30 dB
- active terrestrial path
- die-cast housing provides high screening efficiency (class A)

Designing antenna systems with the use of free software from TERRA - SatNet application. The program allows to prepare the project in graphical form, to determine signal levels in all outlets and verify if they are compliant with standards, and to decide whether to use equalization function of the amplifiers. The program enables the user to archive the designs.
