The ZTT DAC 4J 9/125 G.652.D 1.5 L79404 is a direct-buried fiber-optic cable. The cable has a PE sheath with high crushing resistance (2500 N). Cables with such sheath are also resistant to low temperatures. It can be used on the last mile of a FTTH system, as well as any installation that requires in ground connections, where casing pipes cannot be used for additional protection.
The cable can also be installed in existing telecommunication ducts: the maximum pulling force during installation equals 1200 N.
Inside the central tube, there are 4 G.652.D fibers.
The central tube is filled with gel to protect fibers from moisture and vibration and the cable itself has a water blocking structure (WB). The cable is reinforced with two 0.5 mm diameter FRP bars.
Despite its high mechanical resistance, this cable does not cause problems in processing. Pulling off the outer sheath does not require special tools, all you need is a cutter (to make a few centimeter cut on the cable along the center tube) and a pair of pliers (to tear the outer sheath with FRP rods). For cutting the fiber tube, we recommend the Ideal L5922 stripper.
