Masthead antenna amplifier Terra MX-062 R82006 is dedicated for outdoor applications in individual antenna installations and small MATV systems (without an additional amplifiers TV signals can be distributed to a dozen or so outlets). It has one FM+VHF input and two UHF inputs and max gain of 30 dB gain in the FM+VHF band and 34 dB in the whole UHF band.
The ON/OFF switch set to ON position provides power supply (12 VDC, max 60 mA) to a preamplifier. The maximum output level of 105 dBuV (IMD3=60 dB, DIN45004B) is sufficient for distribution of the output signal to over ten outlets (via a passive network).
The MX-062 amplifier can be fed from a typical 12 VDC, 100 mA power supply with DC injector. It can also be powered via the RF cable from a launch amplifier (in larger systems). When installing a preamplifier, it is important to check the overall current consumption in order not to exceed the power supply's maximum capacity.
