Details
The mast amplifier AB012 R82004 from Terra is a device designed for individual installations or small community installations for a dozen or so outlets, e.g. in single-family houses. The amplification in the whole UHF band (470-862 MHz) is 22 dB. The amplifier has 3 outputs allowing to connect 3 receivers or further division into a larger number of outlets. The maximum signal output level of 103 dBuV (IMD3=60 dB, DIN45004B) allows safe distribution to several outlets. The amplifier is also characterised by a very low noise level of less than 1 dB.
An important feature of the R82004 amplifier is low power consumption (0.3 W) thanks to dedicated power circuit (5 VDC, compatibility with DVB-T standard - EN 300 744).
The 5 VDC voltage is available in the antenna input of DVB-T receivers, e.g. A99410. Application of the AB012 amplifier instead of a standard amplifier powered with 12 VDC allows to avoid an additional power supply.
