The set includes power supply with PoE splitter
RPT-23XR is prepared for outdoor operation as access point and wireless client, compliant with 802.11a standard (5 GHz band). It allows point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links. The device is managed by www interface, which permits easy configuration including setting up more advanced parameters.
The software of RPT-23XR is based on Linux system, enabling direct access in text mode (telnet, ssh). Due to high speed of transmission and use of efficient Power PC of AMCC company, the device may be used for connections between widespread LANs, creating backbone of WLAN, or sending images from monitoring cameras.
The antenna integrated with the device, having 23dB gain, allows setting up long-distance links. Within the software there is built-in program segment with comprehensive collection of statistics giving full information on current state of operation and individual interfaces.
When installing the device it is possible to adjust angle of inclination. The way of mounting enables the antenna to be easy turned through an angle of 90° in order to change polarization from horizontal to vertical. The set also includes PoE adapter used for providing power via Ethernet cable, and power supplier. The employed Ethernet port automatically adapts to the cable, both straight and with transposition.
