SAFETY MEASURES

2. Before connecting the external power supply to the splicer, check the compatibility of the power supply voltage with the required one. In addition, check that the charger cable is not damaged.
3. It is forbidden to use the splicer in an explosive environment.
4. It is forbidden to use the splicer in rooms where explosive gases may accumulate.
5. It is forbidden to open the lid of the splicer while an electric arc is being generated - the risk of shock and burns.
6. When working with fiber optic cables and fibers, take precautions specific to the use of such products. You will find them in the relevant safety instructions associated with these products.
7. The splicer is equipped with a laser designed to diagnose fiber optic connections. Do not look directly into the laser port. Use safety glasses when using the laser.
8. Accessories attached to the splicer may contain sharp parts. Use caution when handling them.
9. If the rechargeable battery begins to emit an odor, becomes hot or leaks, discontinue use immediately.
10. Observe the maximum charging times and charging temperature recommendations.
11. Recharge lithium and lithium-ion batteries at least once every few months.
12. Fiber splicing (if possible) should be done when the optical line is inactive.
