The xCOAX3-SET is a set of active converters for Ethernet data transmission and PoE power supply via coaxial cable which is often used in analog monitoring. The devices allow the installation of PoE IP cameras in places where the replacement of the existing coaxial cabling is impossible or uneconomical. The xCOAX3-SW module is powered from any PoE switch (RJ45 port) and through the coaxial cable, it enables bidirectional network communication and powering the xCOAX3-CAM module. The maximum length of the coaxial cable is 500m. A camera or other PoE receiver can be connected to the RJ45 port of the xCOAX-CAM module at the end of the line.
The polycarbonate casing is a clever solution to ensure insulation and the smallest possible footprint. The small size offers a wide range of installation options.
