The shelf is designed for 800 mm deep RACK cabinets (e.g. R912013, R912014). Using the shelf in a RACK cabinet it is possible to place devices that do not have 19" rack housings. An example of such a device is the TERRA MSV-912 9-input, 12-output multiswitch with active terrestrial R70862.
