The Signal HDMI H3627 converter/extender allows for transmission of HDMI signal over long distances via minimum Cat.6 twisted pair cable. The set can also extend IR control signals to control the source of the HDMI signal, and thanks to the EDID function, the audio/video parameters of the source are compliant with those of the television/monitor. The extender kit consists of transmitter (sender) and receiver units.
EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) allows for sending control signal to the source of the audio/video signal to force the required resolution and audio format.
Advantages of using the H3627 HDMI converter/extender:
- possibility of utilizing ready-to-use structured cabling,
- cost effectiveness (the cost of HDMI cable and HDMI repeater is higher),
- ease if installation (due to thinner and more flexible cable),
- low cost of the left cable in the case of temporary installations where the cable cannot be taken away,
- possibility of adjusting the parameters of the signal source with those of the television/monitor.

The set is perfect for connecting a remote (up to 50 m) HD source like sat receiver, Blu-ray/DVD player, PC, game console etc. to an HD-enabled TV/monitor/projector. It requires to use only one, comparatively thin cable, which makes it easy to hide it, e.g. when installing the TV/monitor on an LCD/OLED mount.
