This COMSAT patch cord is a section of an outdoor single-mode fiber optic cable with a length of 10 meters, terminated on both ends with FC/PC connectors.

- FC/PC connectors - threaded metal sleeves provide reliable and stable connection. Even an accidental strong external pull will not disconnect the connector from the socket.
The patch cord is dedicated for SMATV/MATV systems based on fiber optic solutions. It can be used to connect the optical output LNB A9885 or FibSZ-ODU32 converter/optical transmitter (from the A9880 kit) with the first optical splitter in the distribution system.
