New kind of privacy zones

The camera allows to define up to eight privacy zones (parts of the image are not visible for the operator). C4399/FCB-EX1010P camera uses new spherical masks - the size of the mask is combined with zoom. It is the only sensible solution in the case of PTZ cameras.
Video motion detection and alarm inputs/outputs

The built-in motion detection function allows to define up to 4 detection zones. The image is divided into 96 pieces (12 x 8 fields). Image processing algorithms can detect motion in any field and trigger alarm. The alarm can change the state of alarm otput/s in the camera, driving external devices.
Motion detection is often used in CCTV systems installed at parking lots where a car in certain area may control the gate/barrier, trigger sound/optical signal etc. Alarm inputs/outputs enable implementation of various automated functions enhancing "system intelligence".
Video motion detection
Slow exposure

Longer reaction time combined with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function enables better identification. Powerful zoom allows to notice such details like license number and face of the driver.

Slow exposure function is used in places with dynamic lighting changes, e.g. in underground parking lot where the headlights of a car directly illuminate the camera.
Slow exposure function
After taking the dome off the camera, there are available micro-switches used for changing communication protocol, baud rate, camera number. The user can find the detailed description of the switches in the manual.

Connection to ULTIMAX DVR
Connecting the camera directly to the DVR (the second diagram), the operator can control PTZ functions with the keypad of the DVR, system control unit M77920, or remotely via client program. Network client program also allows to configure the camera. Remote configuration is a very useful feature - the camera has advanced OSD menu, which may cause the process a little troublesome in the case of performing the task on the spot. User-friendly menu of the client program and detailed user manual help to do it without any problems.

The system control unit can also control the DVR. Thanks to the fact that the unit and DVR come from the same manufacturer, there are no problems with compatibility. Additionally, the layout of the keyboard is identical on both devices, which helps to remember functions of the keys.
OSD menu
Without using remote access, the camera, system control unit and DVR can be connected as shown in the first diagram.
The housing of the camera provides IP66 class protection. The set includes wall bracket, about 20 cm long. The camera is powered from the included external AC/AC adapter (230VAC/24VAC, 2A).
