The GAR-TVP8/RS5 R62180 receptacle is designed for use in non-through-type subscriber networks, cable TV systems and community antenna installations. It constitutes the termination of subscriber lines. The outlet may also be used in individual antenna installations.
The GAR-TVP8/RS5 R62180 receptacle is equipped with one input connection, used to connect the subscriber line for high-frequency signals, and two output connections, made as IEC-type sockets, for connecting R and TV subscriber equipment. Thanks to the use of appropriate filtering devices (located inside the socket), the R and TV outputs of the socket carry, respectively, radio signals from the 87.5-108 MHz range at the R output and TV signals (and possibly data signals) from the 5-68 MHz and 118-862 MHz ranges at the TV output.
