On September 19-21, 2012, there was held in Warsaw Sat DIGI-TV 2012 trade fair. TERRA sets of channel amplifiers and modulators, presented by DIPOL, were nominated for the award of Sat DIGI-TV.
The products won the award!
We are happy to announce that TERRA channel amplifiers and modulators won the Sat DIGI-TV 2012 statuette in the category "Best component of SMATV systems".
The Sat DIGI-TV 2012 award
Set of TERRA channel amplifiers and modulators - high quality and reliability for many years. The devices of the at4xx series form a comprehensive solution for shared antenna systems. The set includes:
- twin channel amplifier at420 - for filtering, amplifying and equalizing levels of antenna signals in UHF band, in analog or digital (DVB-T) mode - R82510,
- multiband amplifier ma400 R82520,
- twin VSB multi-standard modulator mt420 R82515,
- a unique DVB-T modulator (at the moment of the proposal - a completely new component of such a set),
- accessories (power supply, installation hardware etc).
The importance of the antenna equipment in contemporary building systems
Professional approach to the problem of amplification of television signals in modern DVB-T and SMATV systems is the use of channel amplifiers, which allows for precise gain control and noise reduction.
Distinguishing features of TERRA channel amplifiers and modulators
A very important feature of the amplifiers is automatic gain control (AGC). With this solution, the installer can in advance set the signal level at the output of the amplifier, without a need to adjust it manually with potentiometers or dedicated programming devices.
In terms of selectivity, the Terra solution using SAW filters is superior to other equipment
available on the European market.
Additionally, digitally controlled attenuators (range of 10 dB) allow for better equalization of signal levels. The number of the amplified channel (multiplex) is selected using the buttons located on the front panel (no need for a programming device or computer). The modules can be mounted directly on walls, on universal DIN rails, in TV installation boxes, or in RACK cabinets.
Terra amplifiers and modulators are also used in SMATV systems. Thanks to AGC - automatic equalization of all channel levels to 85 dBuV (analog mode) or 80 dBuV (DVB-T mode), the at420 amplifiers are ideal for feeding terrestrial TV signals to the most popular SMATV systems based on multiswitches. The SMATV systems can also easily integrate CCTV subsystems by using RF modulators, using analog or digital signals. This increases security and helps to protect the property of the residents.
