Details
Radial multiswitches of MR series are dedicated for small and medium (4-70 outlets) SMATV systems with distribution of the first SAT IF and terrestrial TV signals. The multiswitches have to work inside buildings. In the case of larger systems with multiple multiswitches, it is necessary to use splitters and taps of SD-9XX series to extend the signal lines.
Radial multiswitches of the MR series are dedicated for installations based wholly or partly on star topology, where the cables from the terminal outlets converge at the point of installation of the multiswitch or a group of multiswitches. They are therefore ideal for applications in single- or multi-family houses. However, it is possible to use MR multiswitches in more complex systems. Then the built-in power supply can be used to power other components used in the installation.
The MR-912L R70812 multiswitch has active (amplified) terrestrial and satellite TV paths. Signal level adjustment for each of the satellite and DVB-T paths (47-790 MHz) is performed using dedicated switches. This method of configuration ensures greater stability of the set parameters in relation to traditional solutions based on potentiometers. In addition, the MR-912L R70812 switch has been equipped with a passive TV signal path (5-862 MHz) to be used for the return channel. The device does not support both active and passive TV signal paths simultaneously.
The active DVB-T terrestrial signal path has a built-in filter for LTE signals to eliminate unwanted signals in the 800 MHz band (791-862 MHz frequencies) for data services (LTE).
The die-cast housing provides high screening efficiency by preventing the penetration of interfering signals to the unit.
The input SAT signals to multiswitch systems should be provided by QUATRO LNBs.
Key features:
- radial multiswitch
- built-in cable pre-correction
- grouping of outputs according to output level
- separation between inputs greater than 30 dB
- possibility to supply preamplifier for terrestrial antenna
- active terrestrial signal path equipped with LTE filter (47-790 MHz)
- passive TV signal path (5-862 MHz)
- built-in power supply
- cast casing guaranteeing a high level of shielding - class A
A device from the well known Terra company that specializes in producing professional multiswitches for SMATV systems. Excellent workmanship, stable parameters and very low failure rate make TERRA multiswitches universally recommended.
An unquestionable advantage of MR-9XX multiswitches is the differentiation of output levels for different outputs. This guarantees similar signal levels in outlets located at different distances from the device. Additionally, the designer has used here pre-correction of the attenuation characteristics of the coaxial cable - signals of higher frequencies have higher levels, thanks to which the attenuation of the cable is properly compensated.
The device is powered with 230 VAC power network. All obligatory precautions for working with dangerous live voltages should be obeyed.
