Terra multiswitches of MV series have been designed for medium and large 9-cable SMATV systems, also in multi-staircase buildings (with division into subnetworks).
The MV-908L R70858 multiswitch has active (amplified) terrestrial and satellite TV paths. Signal level adjustment for each of the satellite and DVB-T paths is performed using dedicated switches. This configuration ensures greater stability of the set parameters in relation to traditional solutions based on potentiometers.
The MV-908L R70858 multiswitch has a built-in filter for LTE signals to eliminate unwanted signals in the 800 MHz band (791 - 862 MHz frequencies) for data services (LTE).
The cast housing ensures high screening efficiency, which prevents interfering signals from penetrating inside the device. The high level of output signal, built-in pre-correction of attenuation characteristics of coaxial cables and graded attenuation of multiswitch outputs enable the construction of large installations, where the length of subscriber connections can reach up to 80 m.
The power supply of the multiswitch can be provided by the SA-91 R70901 bus amplifier or from a locally connected R71465 power supply. It is possible to power more devices from one source (maximum current consumption of the multiswitch 100 mA).
