Terra HS-004L R82032 is a TV antenna amplifier with gain up to 39 dB (VHF) and 44 dB (UHF). This characteristics makes it ideal for shared antenna systems (MATV) with multiple outputs, up to 50 or so. The amplifier has one RF input and two paths (split-band), VHF (88-230 MHz) and UHF (470-790 MHz), with independent gain adjustment. The built-in compensation of cable attenuation (slope) allows for equalization of signal levels within the whole band, by increasing gain for higher frequencies.

The die-cast housing provides high screening efficiency by preventing the penetration of interfering signals to the unit.

The HS-004L R82032 amplifier is equipped with a switch connecting supply voltage (12 VDC, max 100 mA) to an optional preamplifier. The maximum output level of the amplifier (121 dBμV, IMD3=60 dB) is sufficient for distribution of the output signal to over ten outlets.

The HS-004L R82032 amplifier is especially useful for applications in broadband antenna systems distributing DVB-T broadcasts. The application of the split-band amplifier eliminates the risk of interference from 800 MHz 4G LTE networks, due to built-in LTE filter blocking signals within the 791-862 MHz range allocated for this kind of wireless services.
