Building amplifier MA050L R82050 from Terra is a device designed for small community installations with a dozen or so outlets, e.g. in single-family houses, multi-family buildings. Its main task is to boost the signal to such a level that it can be received by several or more receivers. The amplifier has inputs: FM+VHFIII signal (47-108/174-230 MHz) and UHF band (470-790 MHz). The amplification in the FM+VHFIII bands is 30 dB, while in the UHF band it is 34 dB.
The die-cast housing provides high screening efficiency by preventing the penetration of interfering signals into the unit.
The MA050L R82050 amplifier has an On/Off switch to send 12 V and a maximum current of 60 mA to the antenna preamplifier. The maximum signal output level is 115 dBμV (IMD3=60 dB), allowing the signal to be safely distributed to a dozen outlets. Built-in slope pre-correction (cable characteristic pre-correction) compensates for the difference in cable attenuation at higher frequencies.
MA-050L R82325 is particularly recommended for systems using broadband amplifiers (up to 790 MHz). The application of the split-band amplifier eliminates the risk of interference from 800 MHz 4G LTE networks, thanks to a built-in LTE filter blocking signals within the 791-862 MHz range allocated for this kind of wireless services.
